This is what I wore to work today. The weather was amazing. A little raining but the temperature was just great. I got off a little earlier than expected today, so that was nice. I stopped at Zellers on my way home because they are having store closing liquidation sales. For those who don't know Zellers is a store in Canada similar to Wal-Mart or Target. I just picked up a few things. I will show you later. I'm getting ready to watch American Idol soon. Is anyone else watching it? Do you have any favourites?

Comfy Sunday

Hope everyone had a good weekend. This is what I wore on a casual/lazy Sunday. Sunny and I did some grocery shopping and went to our university today. It is still so cold that I sometimes don't have the energy to put together a proper outfit. It is suppose to be freezing rain tonight...so I am hoping for a SNOW DAY tomorrow!

It's FREEZING!

Good morning! I just have a quick post today. It has been crazy cold here in Toronto this week. My cheeks actually sting in the wind. This is a pic of me bundled up before work. I had a nice double double on my drive to try and stay warm. For those who aren't familiar with Canadian lingo, a double double is a coffee with two cream and two sugar. Wall Art

I am super busy this week so I'm not sure how often I will be able to post but I will try my best. These are some pictures of the wall art in my bedroom. I made it myself using magazine cutouts and mod podge. It looks amazing and it was fun to make. What do you think? If you are interested, I can definitely do a DIY post for everyone. Also the very last picture is a personal touch I added (it is a pic of Sunny and me).

All Black Everything

Here is what I wore to work yesterday. You will soon start to notice that I love wearing BLACK. I think it looks so classy, edgy and chic. I wore the blazer the entire day but I wanted to show you what the top looked like because I am excited to wear it on its own in the summer. I will maybe play around with different bras next time I wear it. I realize you can slightly see mine through the material but that is the style these days, right? We went to see my cousin and her husband's new house last night. It is beautiful. I will do some posts with her sometime because she has amazing style. It was a blizzard here  last night. So much snow! But hopefully it won't last long. I'm ready for spring :)

Peacock Necklace

I have just felt like dressing comfy that last couple of days. It is so cold here in Canada. Here is the outfit I wore today. It is a nice shiny plum vest and I wore a pretty peacock necklace with it. I got the necklace for Christmas and I absolutely love it. I am going to watch American Idol tonight. I always like the auditions. Is anyone else going to follow it this season? Hope everyone has a good night :)

Cairns Complex Details

Here are some details from the outfit I posted yesterday. The top is from H&M, the jeans are from Bluenotes and the the boots are from Forever 21. The bag is meant to look like the Alexander Wang Rocco. Although I would love to have the "real thing", I am not willing to spend the money on it right now. This one is from ebay. If you are interested you can just search "celebrity studded bag" and it will come up. The quality is actually really good and it is my go-to bag right now. It adds a bit of edge to any outfit. I hope you like it :)

Cairns Complex

Good Morning! How was everyone's weekend? It was beautiful weather here...almost like spring. I just wish it was here to stay. Here are some distant outfit pics. They were taking outside the newest building at my school. It is so pretty eh? I will show you some close up pictures of my outfit later. Sunny and I had a relaxing weekend. He was sick this weekend so we watched a lot of movies, but he is feeling much better now. I have a long day ahead of me with work and tutoring. I hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Hint of Lace

I am loving all things burgundy right now. I am instantly drawn to anything in that colour range. Here is a pic of the top I wore to work today. It is a nice deep red (burgundy) and it has this lacy back. It is very professional but still very chic and trendy. Perfect for work. What do you think?

Also I wanted to share a look I created on Polyvore. I'm sure most people are already familiar with this website but in case you aren't I will share some information. It is this fantastic site where you can create and put together your very own outfits. They have tons of clothing options to choose from as well as a multitude of shoes and accessories. The best part is that you can find all of the items from the various designer either online or in store. It is definitely a fun way to play around with different clothes and looks. Shine Bright Like A Diamond

Here are some details of my outfit today. The blouse is sleeveless and has a beautiful collar. I will definitely get a lot of use from it when I want to add a little bit of sparkle to an outfit. Did anyone do anything exciting this weekend? Sunny and I had a much needed relaxing weekend, watching movies and eating junk food. I'm already counting down the days until Friday. Hope the work week goes by fast :)

Cara Delevingne

Is anyone else a Delevingner like me? Recently I have been loving Cara Delevingne in fashion, beauty and personality. She seems to be so carefree and funny. Her style is effortless and simple but still very edgy and chic. And those eyebrows are seriously amazing and leave something to be desired.

Recently I went to the salon in an attempt to go back to my natural hair colour and look more Delevingne-esque. I'm not sure if I am happy with the results...I will post a picture later and you can let me know what you think!

Christmas Gift

One of my favourite Christmas gifts this year was a coat rack/spring form that I got from my parents. It was such a surprise. I just had to share it with you. I plan on using it to display some of my favourite clothing pieces and accessories and I can use it to hang my outfits for the next day. Isn't it cool? I'll show you some more pictures of it in use. Warmth Prevailed Style

 Here are a few pictures from NYE. My boyfriend, Sunny and I ate at the Pickle Barrel. The food was delicious. The second picture is in the lobby of the Royal York hotel.

It was such a cold night that warmth prevailed style. I wore black from head to toe and added a pop of colour with my burgundy scarf.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's Eve. My boyfriend and I spent the evening in Toronto at Nathan Phillips Square/The Royal York. We had a delightful time despite the freezing cold temperatures and massive crowds.

I have decided to let you in on my New Year's Resolutions. I make them every year but almost never follow-through with them. Here it goes anyways:
