Hydrangea Flower

Happy Thursday! This is just a quick simple outfit post. I wore this one night this week when we went to see my cousin and her cute baby girl. All of the pieces are from last year. Sometimes they are just the most comfortable. I am waiting on a package with some new clothes from Boohoo Canada. I have never ordered from them before so I am excited to see the items. I will definitely share them with you once they come.

P.S. Don't mind the hair...it is a little messy because I just let it dry in the wind!

Wonderland

https://www.canadaswonderland.com/uploads/wallpaper/leviathan_drop_1024x768.jpg
Sunny and I went to an amusement park this weekend called Canada's Wonderland. It is awesome. There are so many exciting rides to go on. The Leviathan is one of the craziest (as pictured above). If you are every in the Toronto area, this is a must see!!! I wanted to wear something casual, comfy and cool. It was a hot day so I decided on these short shorts and a tank top. The shorts should still be available at Target. Hope everyone is having a good week so far!

I seriously need these rain hats...especially with all of the rain we have been getting. These particular hats are from Maison Michel and cost approximately $300 each. I wish I could afford this but definitely can't right now. If anyone has any idea where I could purchase something similar to these, please let me know!!! What do you think of these rain hats? Would you wear them? I hate carrying an umbrella so this is a perfect solution to keep my hair dry in the rain :)

The Villages

My Passport
Village Ukraine
Village India
Good Morning!! Hope everyone had a great weekend. As you know, we went to a cultural festival in my hometown this weekend so these are some pictures from that. The festival is called "The International Villages" and each cultural community in the city has a hall where they serve traditional food and have traditional performances. You buy a passport and then you can travel around to the different 'countries', eating their food and learning about their culture. It was a lot of fun. We didn't have time to visit all of the countries but two of the best performances that we saw were from Ukraine and India (see pics posted above). If you ever get the chance it is definitely worth checking out.

You can see the outfit I wore but I don't have much information to share about the outfit because a lot of the pieces are from last year. The dress is from Joe Fresh. It is really comfy and easy to wear. They definitely don't have the same dress available this year but they have similar styles with different patterns.

Woohoo...I love short weeks!! It is already Friday and time to enjoy the weekend. We are going to a festival tonight called "The Villages". It is in my hometown and it is so much fun. All of the cultural communities serve traditional food and show traditional performances throughout the city. I will try to take some pictures at the festival. Does anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend?

Polka Dot Shorts

Tank: H&M (recent) // Shorts: Ann Taylor (recent) // Purse: H&M (recent) // Sandals: Ardene (recent)
These are some pics from Toronto Island last weekend (but again I didn't get a chance to share them lol). Toronto Island is so much fun. You have to take a ferry from Harbourfront and then you can spend  the day at the beach, walking around, biking, etc. It wasn't a very nice day when we went but we made the most of it. We rented this bike and toured the island. You should definitely check it out if you get the chance. Have any of you been to Toronto Island?

Have a great day!

P.S. Sorry for the bad picture quality but we didn't have our proper camera with us.

I'm back with another outfit post today. This was an outfit I wore last week but I didn't get a chance to share it with you. I wore it to work and then out for dinner to Denninger's (a Euro Cafe). Hope you like it!

Red Dress

Dress: Target // Vest: Forever 21 (available here) // Sandals: Aldo (similar here) // Bracelets: H&M // Sunglasses: H&M
I got my hair done (in case you didn't notice yesterday). It feels so good to be light blonde again. It just feels like ME!! I went to a new salon in Burlington and I absolutely loved it there. It is called Hair Xtacy. Everyone was so friendly and my hairdresser (Mike) did exactly what I asked. I wanted my hair to be a cool blonde (in tone lol) so he used a toner and I just love the colour now.

Anyways, this is another outfit I wore on Canada Day weekend. Sunny and I went to the Pride Parade in Toronto, which was a great event. It was quite busy so we didn't get to see much of the parade but it was fun to walk around and see all of the supporters. After that we went to the CHIN picnic/music festival. There was a performer by the name of Jazzy B we wanted to see. The show was awesome and we got to shake his hand.

I hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Happy Canada Day!

Tank: GT (Giant Tiger lol) // Shorts: Old Navy // Flip Flops: Old Navy // Sunglass: H&M

I just wanted to share a quick outfit post and say Happy Canada Day! This is a super casual outfit I wore today. We had a great weekend in Toronto. I will share more pics and stories tomorrow.

P.S. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Work was really busy in June because of final exams!!! I had so many extra tutoring sessions that I ran out of time. But the good news is that I am back with more posts :)

Weekend Downtown

These are just a few quick pictures I took downtown Toronto this weekend. Sunny and I had plans to go indoor rock climbing but we ended up rescheduling for a later date. We just enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend. Sorry the pictures don't showcase my outfit in the best way. I forgot my real camera so these were just taken with my iPhone. Hope everyone is having a good week so far!
