Limited Edition: Details

Here are some details of my "Limited Edition" outfit. I have been trying to collect simple silver rings lately. I love the look of lots of rings...especially the newer trend of knuckle rings. I think they look really cool. Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend? Sunny and I are going to try indoor rock climbing this weekend. I'm excited but nervous. Limited Edition

This is a casual outfit I wore today. I wear this blazer quite often but I just find it so versatile. It dresses up an outfit but still keeps it casual enough because it is collarless. If you are following my blog you are probably starting to get a better idea of my style. I would describe it as trendy, minimalistic and edgy. Conference with the Governor General

As I mentioned last week, I went to a conference on the weekend where the former Governor General of Canada spoke (as pictured above). It was a really good presentation and it was neat to see her. I also had the chance to see some of my former professors and the president of Brock University. The former Governor General was dressed very classy. She was wearing a nice black pencil skirt and a hot pink blazer (as you can see from the picture). Also you can see the outfit I wore to the function. Most people were dressed in casual attire. Owl Sweater

Owl Sweater: Old Navy // Pants: Bluenotes // Flats: Forever 21

This is an outfit I wore on the weekend. It was still somewhat cool on the weekend so that is why I am wearing a sweater. I really love the owl sweater. It is from Old Navy but that was back in December. Im pretty sure it is Burberry inspired (seen here) but Old Navy's version is excellent for the price. What do you think?

I did so much work on my 'professional' life last night lol. I spent time updating everything on my LinkedIn profile so now it is much more presentable. Hope everyone has an excellent day!

It's Monday...it is always so hard to wake up on Monday. I wanted to share a couple new products.
I recently purchased these two e.l.f. products and I am really loving them both. The first is the e.l.f. Eye Refresh. It is supposed to help with puffiness around eyes with a cooling effect. The second product is the e.l.f Lip Exfoliator. Anybody who knows me knows that I am obsessed/addicted to chap stick lol. This lip exfoliator is really helping my chapped lips and I am not having to use chap stick as often. It feels a little bit gritty when you put it on but after a little while it is nice and smooth. Also, it is very sweet and tastes like sugar.  These are really great products and you can't go wrong for the price. Hope everyone has a nice day!

Happy Friday!! I hope everyone had a good week. Any exciting plans for the weekend? We have a few things planned this weekend. Former Governor General, Michaelle Jean, will deliver a keynote address at a conference at Brock University this weekend. Sunny and I are going to go see her speak tonight. Also it was my brother's birthday yesterday so we are going to have a celebration with family and friends on Saturday night. It should be fun!! I'll be sure to take some outfit pics.

Juke: Part 2

As promised, here are some more pictures of my Juke, along with my outfit that day. We went downtown on the weekend and this is what I wore. We did a lot of walking. It was so nice though and it was lovely to be by the lake on such a sunny day. Sorry if my eyes look squinty in the pics...it is so hard for me to keep them open while facing the sun lol. Juke

Hi All! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been busy with different things but I just wanted to do a quick post today. I finally got my new car!!! I decided on the Nissan Juke, as posted below, and I absolutely love it. It is in between a car and SUV and I think it is so cute. Let me know what you think! Review: John Frieda Go Blonder

I have been using John Frieda Go Blonder for probably about a month now so I thought I would do a formal review. I really like the product. I wanted my hair to lighten up a bit, which is why I was initially drawn to the product. I am very please with the results (see before/after pics below). The product lathers nicely and it has a pleasant smell. I know some others have complained of a skin/scalp irritation but I have had no problems with this (and I have very sensitive skin). Overall, I would definitely recommend this product for blondes if you just want to get your hair a shade lighter. If you have any questions post them below and I will get back to you.

Did anyone do anything exciting on the weekend? We didn't really do much but we spent a lot of time outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Sunny and I started playing tennis this weekend. We aren't that great right now but it is still fun and a really good workout. We will be pros in no time haha.

I know I've done an outfit post with the tee recently but it is my fav right now so I wear it a lot.

Red Brick Part II

Here are some more pics from the outfit I posted yesterday. I really love these jeans. They are coated jeans meant to give a leather look. I went for the rose gold jewelry with the all black. I think it looks nice. I am still getting comfortable posing for the camera. I am trying to do some more natural shots instead of me just standing there. Sunny is really good at telling me how to pose. Hopefully I can be more creative in future posts.

So I test drove a bunch of cars yesterday and I am pretty sure I have narrowed it down to three; Mazda 2, Nissan Juke or Mini Cooper. If anyone has an suggestions please let me know. I am going to make a pros and cons list and make my decision this weekend. I'll let you know what I decide.
