Cuticle Tattoos

Have you heard about the new craze? Cuticle tattoos!!! I think it looks really cool and edgy. There are tons of design you can try. I also thinking it would look really cool with black nail polish. I  will try it sometime soon but only temporary of course. I will post pics and a DIY when I do it.

What do you think? Would you rock cuticle tattoos?

Angelica Blick for Bik Bok

Source: Angelica Blick - http://angelicablick.se
Angelica Blick is one of my favourite bloggers. I have been following her blog for a few years now and she has great style. She recently designed a collection with Bik Bok. I love all the pieces (obviously) but these are my absolute favourites. Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to buy them here in Canada but they still give me style inspiration. Check out Angelica's blog here for the entire collection and more pics.

P.S. I am loving asymmetrically cut skirts and dresses. Can't wait to wear them this spring/summer!!!

Rag and Bone: Miramar Jean

Have you seen these amazing jeans??? OMG I am dying to have them. They are actually digitally printed sweatpants...Can you believe it? They look super cool and comfortable. You can view them here on the rag & bone website but they are not available to purchase right now due to popularity. For those of you in Canada, you can find them at Holt Renfrew. I can't wait to see them in person. What do you think of them? Can you tell they are sweatpants? Comment below.

Philosophy Review: Purity Made Simple, Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash, Hope in a Jar

I have been using the same skincare regiment for a little while now with Philosophy products. I thought I would share a review of these products with you. I have strange skin lol! It is oily and dry at the same time, I have large pores and I break out quite easily. It has been a constant challenge since I was a teenager to keep my breakouts under control and my skin looking decent. These three philosophy products have done me well but I am still on the search for that miracle product….if it even exists!!

Purity Made Simple ($26 CAD at Sephora):
I use this product morning and night. I really like the feel and it has a nice light pleasant smell. My face definitely feels clean after using it. The product does not seem harsh on my skin so I would say it is suitable for sensitive skin. I really do like this face wash but I haven't noticed much of a difference in the size of my pores. It did however keep breakouts to a minimum. A little bit goes a long way so it is worth the money.

Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash ($27 CAD at Sephora):
I only use this product at night. Because I have sensitive skin I found it to be too harsh to use twice a day (but some may be able to). It doesn't have much of a smell at all. My face feels clean and smooth after using this product. It is a little bit gritty (but in a good way). Again I didn't notice much of a difference in the size of my pores and there was no change in the oiliness of my skin. A little bit goes a long way so it is worth the money.

Hope in a Jar ($52 CAD a Sephora):
I usually just used this in the morning but sometimes at night too. It has a very light smell. It is a non-greasy formula and dries really fast. This is a good thing for me because of my oily skin. Although I like this product and it does provide moisture I find it to be a little expensive.

Overall I really like these Philosophy products because they are great for sensitive skin and they don't seem harsh. I think they would work really well on a lot of skin types. If you have complicated skin (like me!), I would still give these products a try. I am happy with them but just not blown away. I will be forever searching for that perfect skincare regiment! If you have any recommendations let me know!

New Year's Eve Outfit

Silver Sweater: H&M // White Shirt: Suzy Shier // Jeans: Bluenotes // Boots: Boohoo

Here is a closer look of what I wore on New Year's Eve. It was pretty casual but I added a bit of sparkle with the sweater and rhinestone collar.

I went to the store last night to look at a better camera. I recently bought a decent digital camera but there are some mirrorless cameras on sale this week so I might do an exchange. I am hoping I will be able to take better outfit pics.

Isn't this weather crazy!!!! It is super cold and snowing like crazy in Canada. I'm so tried of winter already lol!

3.1 Phillip Lim for Target

Have you heard that Phillip Lim is collaborating with Target? His collection will be available 15 September at select Target stores.

Phillip Lim has amazing designs but they are definitely out of my price range. I'm so glad that he has decided to work with Target to make his unique and chic designs more accessible.

I have already scoped out the lookbook online and I've decided on a few pieces (as seen below). What are some of your favourites? Will any of you be hitting Target on the 15th to get his pieces?

Seven Deadly Sins

Tank: Urban Outfitters // Jean Shirt: Giant Tiger // Shorts: TAG

Happy Friday!

Just a quick outfit post today. This is an outfit I wore out to Frankie Tomatoes, an italian buffet   near Toronto. The food is soooo good. Definitely try it out if you get the chance. Of course I ate way to much!!!!

This tank is from Urban Outfitters and I love it. I bought it at the beginning of summer but I'm just getting around to wearing it now. In case you don't know, it is the Seven Deadly Sins in French!!

It is a long weekend in Canada this weekend. I don't have much planned but I am going to a Girl's Night In at Becca's (my cousin). I will try to take some outfit pics there. What do you have planned for the weekend?

One King West

A little while back Sunny and I stayed at One King West downtown Toronto for Sunny's birthday!! It was a beautiful hotel and we had a great time. The first few pics were taken at the hotel entrance. You can see the design is quite nice. We also had a breakfast buffet in the morning and it was amazing...lots of tasty food!!!

This is the outfit I wore for his birthday dinner. I really love the skirt. It is from H&M and it should still be available. The top was a gift from my cousin (Becca), but it is from H&M too.

I can't believe summer is almost over. It seems like it flew by...but it always does. Is anyone doing anything exciting for September? Starting a new school?

P.S. Don't mind the pale skin lol. I tried to stay out of the sun this summer but I really should use a self tanner!!!

Blogger Bazaar

Dress: Found at Winners by Katsumi

Hi All,

Sorry I haven't posted since last Wednesday!!!! As I said, we have been having internet problems and they still aren't fixed so I am having to post from William's Coffee Pub.

Anyways, here are some pics from last weekend. Sorry they are a bit late but I thought you would like to see them anyways. Some popular fashion bloggers from Toronto hosted a Blogger Bazaar where they sold designer items at great deals. It was fun and I got to meet one of my fav Toronto fashion bloggers, Nelia (as pictured above). Check out her blog at http://styleblog.ca/. I actually didn't end up buying anything because I am trying to be on a spending freeze lol, but it was still nice to check out the items and mingle with everyone.

The dress I am wearing is from Winners by Katsumi. I really love the style and the pattern. Check out your local Winners because they will probably still have some available.

Cobalt Blue at Brock U

Dress: Giant Tiger // Sandals: Ardene // Purse: H&M // Sunglass: Hello Kitty

Good Morning All!

Here is an outfit post at one of my favourite places in the world...my school...BROCK UNIVERSITY! These photos were taken outside Brock's Schmon Tower.

I really love wearing simple comfortable dresses in the summer. They are very effortless and easy to wear. This particular dress features the high-low hemline and can easily be dressed-up or dressed-down. And you will never guess the price...$5!! Isn't that amazing!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!

The Ramones

Sweatshirt: Forever 21 (here) // Shorts: Campus Crew // Belt: Forever 21
Hi Everyone!

How was your weekend? I was so exhausted Sunday night that I didn't get a chance to do an outfit post. We had a great time at my Aunt and Uncle's cottage. It is so beautiful up there. I will definitely share some pics later this week.

For now this is just a quick, simple, comfy outfit. I am loving this sweatshirt right now. I think the graphic is really great and it is nice and cozy on cooler nights. I'm hoping I can give it a salt wash a few times to fade the graphic and make it look more vintage. Hopefully it works!

I'll see you will another outfit tomorrow!

Marilyn Monroe Buildings

Dress: Kohls // Vest: Forever 21 // Purse: Winners // Sunglasses: Ray Ban // Sandals: Ardene

Can you believe the weather we have been getting? It is so cold in Ontario (especially in the mornings and evenings). It feels like fall is here already. I love fall and everything but I still want some nice summer weather. Oh well, it is supposed to warm up this weekend, which is perfect timing because I will be enjoying some cottage life!

This is an outfit I wore to do some shopping and roam around downtown Toronto. These particular pictures were taken in downtown Mississauga. Aren't the buildings in the background amazing??? They are the Marilyn Monroe Condos and they have the best curves. What do you think?

As for my outfit, if you have been following my blog you have probably seen similar outfits to this one. It is one of my favorite looks this summer - a simple dress with a vest over top. I will probably wear it into fall too because it would look cute with nice ankle boots.
